Access to advanced functional testing and interpretation from an experienced Functional Medicine Doctor is one of the real strengths of our clinic. Our advanced nutritional and metabolic panels can give real insight into the root causes of chronic illness and allow us to accurately track progress and create bespoke treatment plans.
Our Doctor team are also trained in nutritional Genomics through Lifecode Gx. Understanding genomic causes for dysfunction is often helpful in complex or difficult cases. However, we do not offer genomic interpretation without organic acid screening as we feel it is important to look at the current metabolism alongside underlying genetic predisposition to make informed treatment decisions in this complex and emerging area of medicine.

Home phlebotomy (UK-based): Arrange to have your bloods taken in advance of your appointment in the comfort of your own home or office. Our partner Innuvi provide phlebotomy services via a UK-wide network of nurses. Other providers may be recommended in some circumstances.
Appointments can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance with no charge. Cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice or a failure to attend attracts the full fee –£75

Metabolomix + Test: Urine Organic and amino acids including biomarkers for:
GI Effects – Comprehensive stool analysis. This test offers valuable insight into digestive function, intestinal inflammation, and the intestinal microbiome.
Lactulose Hydrogen and Methane Breath test (SIBO analysis) – A breath test which captures exhaled hydrogen (H2) and methane (CH4) gases following patient ingestion of a lactulose solution to evaluate bacterial overgrowth of the small intestine.
Elemental Analysis Profile – Evaluates recent toxic element exposure and assesses nutrient mineral status.
Homocysteine – Used to assess ‘methylation’ capacity – may be used to monitor therapy in those with previous high levels. High homocysteine levels can contribute to increased risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke and dementia.
Urine Iodine – Useful when assessing thyroid problems and nutritional status.
